Firefighter Dale Roberts sweeps mud off Route 108 in Rumford after a trailer-truck headed to Boston with a load of paper went into the ditch Monday a few miles south of NewPage paper mill. Rumford police officer David Hodgdon said driver Tyrone Boland, 34, of Hyde Park, Mass., was not hurt. The 2001 Freightliner lost two tires and had about $1,500 damage. Officers from Rumford and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office, and Rumford firefighters were at the scene.
