AUBURN — John T. Bradbury Jr., 84, a resident of Lisbon, died Friday, April 27, at the Hospice House following a long illness.
He was born in Auburn, Sept. 14, 1927, the son of John T. and Neva (Bickford) Bradbury, Sr.
John was a 1945 graduate of Edward Little High School after which he joined the U.S. Army and served in post-war Germany as a corporal during the Korean Conflict. He then became employed with the U.S. Civil Service, where he had been employed 12 years in Yokohoma, Japan, and 12 years in Taipei, Taiwan.
He also was a lifelong dog lover, and had resided with his nephew, Larry Laprise.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Margaret Bradbury of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, June Reynolds, Nathalie White and Marjorie Laprise; and four brothers, Harold, Thomas, Sherman and Ernest.
