NEW GLOUCESTER — Taylor’s Grove, aka veteran country music performer Mac McHale and old-time gospel singer Carolyn Hutton, will bring a bit of the North and South together at a show Saturday, June 2, at the New Gloucester Village Coffee House.

Taking the duo’s name from the little North Carolina church where she grew up singing with her family, Hutton and McHale perform old-fashioned American music. With guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmony singing, they perform songs McHale learned from country radio in the 1930s-40s and music Hutton heard in the North Carolina Piedmont.

The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. For information, call 926-3260 or 967-3755.
