RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Leo Blouin of South Rumford was celebrated Thursday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Philip Tracy as celebrant. Altar assistant was Nick Puiia. Organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “The Lord is My Shepherd,” “Like a Child Rest,” “Ave Maria” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Readings were given by Laura Qualey and Doreen Gallant. Eulogy was given by son-in-law, Trevor Jones, who also read a letter from Mr. Blouin’s son, David. Gift presenters were grandchildren, Collin and Aaron Jones. Pallbearers were Steve Blouin, Joe Qualey, Steve Howard, George Blanchard, Mike Kane and Larry Laperle. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Tracy at St. John Cemetery. Military Honors were given by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta. A reception followed at the Parish Hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
