Maximum Blue will bring bluegrass, newgrass and swing to Riverwatch Patio at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn on Thursday, July 26, for another “Sounds of Summer” concert put on by L/A Arts. Making up the trio are father and son, Max and Jeff Silverstein, and Nancy Merrill. Max is the centerpiece of the trio, playing a lively and upbeat lead fiddle. Providing steady, driving rhythms are Jeff on guitar and Merrill on upright bass. The free concerts run from noon to1 p.m. For more information, call L/A Arts at 782-7228 or visit www.laarts.org.
