POLAND SPRING — The Tony Boffa Trio will perform Monday, July 30, at All Souls Chapel as part of the Poland Spring Preservation Society’s Summer Concert Series.

Making up the trio are Shawna Hayley-Bear on vocals; Jim Macisso on bass and vocals; and Tony Boffa on guitar and vocals. Each is a member of the Tony Boffa eight-piece show and dance band. Desiring to do more mid-week engagements, they formed the trio, which performs in area restaurants and hotels.

The Tony Boffa Trio is known for its  strong three-part harmony and repertoire covering seven decades of music. The fun and challenge is covering so many genres with three voices and sparse instrumentation. 

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets, $7.50 at the door, include refreshments. All proceeds benefit the preservation and restoration of the Maine State Building and All Souls Chapel, both of which are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
