RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Anne Henry Mayo McKay was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Hosea,” “Because the Lord is my Shepherd,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly like a Bird.” The Old Testament was presented by grandson, Brandon Gorham and the New Testament by daughter, Catherine Mayo Jarosz. Offertory gifts were presented by daughters-in-law, Tammy Mayo and Bridget Mayo. Personal reflections were shared by sons, Daniel, Joseph and Stephen Mayo. Bearers were Daniel Mayo, Stephen Mayo, Robert Mayo, Joseph Mayo, Catherine Mayo Jarosz and Brandon Gorham. Interment will be at Demeritt Cemetery, Peru. A reception followed in the parish hall served by the Daughters Of Isabella. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
