Lewiston 6, Oxford Hills 1

LEWISTON —  Junior midfielder Abdibaari Hersi netted a pair of goals and assisted on another to help propel Lewiston to a 6-1 victory over Oxford Hills in KVAC boys’ soccer action.

Abdi Hassan-Shariff, Lucas Shulze, Abdullahi Aden and Ibrahim Mohamed all added first-half goals, giving the Blue Devils (4-0) a commanding 6-0 lead at the half. Matt Beauschesne scored the lone goal for the Vikings (0-4) on a penalty kick.

Eric Soucy and Austin Wing each had a save for Lewiston. Jake Beauschesne stopped 14 shots in net in the loss.

Leavitt 2, Morse 1

BATH — Leavitt got a pair of first half goals from Brandon Morissette and held on for a 2-1 triumph over Morse in KVAC boys’ soccer.

Morissette scored on an assist from Anthony Tedesco about 16 minutes into the game. The senior midfielder connected on an unassisted tally with eight minutes left in the half.

Grady Madden scored the lone goal for Morse (0-3) to cut the lead in half but could push across another. Ben Fullerton stopped seven shots for the Hornets. Duane Tardiff saved four for Morse.
