Kara St.Hilaire of Auburn starts the Lewiston-Auburn Walk to End Alzheimer’s wearing a photo honoring her with her grandfather Robert St.Hilaire Jr. who died as a result of Alzheimer’s disease 18 months ago. The 3-mile walk started at the d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston with more than 150 participating in the event. The majority of the participants have loved ones and friends affected by Alzheimer’s and a number with Alzheimer’s were participating as well.
