Residents of Cumberland County are fortunate to have County Commissioner Steve Gorden, who I am supporting in the November election.

Not only is he active within Cumberland County, he is pushing our local issues at the state level. He has assisted in promoting the upgrade of Cumberland County facilities while eliminating some of their operational and maintenance costs.

His idea of making county government more streamlined, better and more cost-effective is unique at this governance level.

He has supported energy savings and is a driving force in promoting regional services while taking care not to upset local community culture.

He has the professional background to analyze and reorganize organizational governmental structures for the future.

This type of individual is needed to move county services into the future with the employment of new technologies and the goal of stabilizing the overall, countywide property tax.
