LISBON — No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle rear-end crash Thursday afternoon on Route 196 at the intersection Bowdoin Street in Lisbon Falls.
According to investigating officer Darin Estes, all three vehicles were traveling in a westerly direction on Route 196 when Public Works Director Ryan Leighton stopped for a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
Glen Goodnough, 55, of Brunswick stopped behind him, but a third vehicle driven by Justin Plourde, 24, of Lewiston was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision. Goodnough complained of pain but declined immediate medical attention.
