Bridge Club winners named

LEWISTON —The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Oct. 15 were as follows: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Mary Ann Trafton and Luke Merry; third/fourth tie, Richard Balian and Dick Allen with Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman; first in B, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.

Winners on Oct. 16 were: first, Fred Letourneau and Mike True; second, Jeanine Kivus and Patricia Quinn; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; fourth, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; first, Richard Balian and Pete Cummings; second, Mary Ann Trafton and Kathleen Burden.

Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for more information.

Dance benefits Keepin’ On

AUBURN — A dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 20, at Lost Valley Ski and Banquet Resort.

Music will be provided by Slygo Road, playing originals, blues, soul and R&B classics.

Requested donation amount is $20 for single or $35 for couples. The event is for ages 21 and older. For advanced tickets, contact [email protected].

Proceeds will benefit The Keepin’ On Foundation, established by and in memory of Kylee Gendron, a young mother who recently lost her battle with cancer.

Boghooters hunters breakfast

MECHANIC FALLS — The Boghooters Snowmobile Club will hold their annual Hunters Breakfast from 5 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Boghooters Club house on the Austin Road-Pigeon Hill.

On the menu there will be buttermilk pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and beans. Cost is $5.
