Representatives from the L & A Veterans Council visited Maine Veterans Homes in Augusta, South Paris and Scarborough. Each home and the Togus Hospital Volunteers Services were given a DVD of the last Memorial Day parade and ceremony by chairman Ray Boulet. Monetary gifts were also donated by American Legion Post 22, Franco Veterans Post 31 and VFW Post 9150, all of Lewiston. Other organizations present were American Legion Post 153 of Auburn, Amvets Post 6 of New Gloucester, DAV Chapter 11 and Franco Veterans Post 31 Ladies Auxiliary. The representatives were given tours of each facility.
