Elks holding supper for vets
RUMFORD — The Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 on 60 River St. will host a Veterans Supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. All vets eat for free. The cost of the meal is $7. Menu will consist of ham, potatoes, veggies and dessert.

MEXICO — The class of 1952 from Stephens High in Rumford will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Mexico Chicken Coop for their monthly luncheon. Note the change of day.
Sno-Goers plan meeting, potluck
ANDOVER — The Snow Valley Sno-Goers snowmobile club will hold its December meeting and Christmas potluck supper on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The potluck supper will start at 6 p.m. and the regular meeting will follow at 7 at the clubhouse, off Route 5.
Again this year the club will gladly accept unwrapped gift articles which will go to the Andover Elementary School Christmas Store where students can shop for gifts for family and friends.
The winning 50/50 ticket will be drawn at the meeting. There is still time to purchase 50/50 tickets and they will be available at the Dec. 5 gathering. All club members and interested persons are invited to attend both the potluck supper (bring a dish to share) and the meeting.
Mexico High Class of 1964
MEXICO — The MHS Class of 1964 will hold their class lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at River Valley Grill. All classmates, spouses and guests are welcomed. Any questions call 364-3388.
Art show, reception
RUMFORD — Pennacook Art Center will open a new show at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.
The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook will hold a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, to meet the artists and view the art. A door prize will be given.
The Pennacook Art Center features paintings, drawings and photographs by local art professionals. The exhibit is available for viewing during the Technology Center’s regular office hours.
Christmas memories on stage
BETHEL — The Senior College Players of Bethel will present two audience-participation holiday favorites, “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” by Dylan Thomas, and “Memories of a Wonderful Life” by Jonathan M. Zaley, on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 8, at l and 7 p.m. at the Mason House Exhibit Hall, 14 Broad St.
The public is invited. Admission is free. Donations are accepted to offset royalty fees. For information call director Lynn Arizzi at 824-0080.
Snowshoe Club Christmas party
RUMFORD — The Snowshoe Club will hold a Christmas party Saturday, Dec. 8. Social hour will start at 5 p.m. A ham supper will be served at 6 p.m.
The Noel and Don Band will provide music from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $9 for members and $10 for guests.
