LIVERMORE FALLS — The Spirit of the Season Committee will host a Santa’s workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Spruce Mountain High School south campus (formerly LFHS), where kids can purchase items for their family members for 25 cents. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

At 5:15 p.m. the Light Parade will start at the Memco parking lot in Jay and continues to the gazebo in downtown Livermore Falls. After the parade visit with Santa at the Bank Building on Main Street, under the clock tower. Bring a camera if your child would like a picture taken with Santa.

For a $5 donation citizens can also “purchase” a lightbulb in memory or in honor of a special person. Donation forms can be picked up at Androscoggin Bank or at various businesses around town. Donations go towards the Coats for Kids Project, providing new coats for the children of the RSU 73 (Jay/Livermore/Livermore Falls) school district.
