Promising newcomers: N/A.

Outlook: The carryover from Mt. Blue’s state championship football season may hurt the wrestling team early in the season. The Cougars already are dealing with low numbers and will be impacted by a few nagging fall injuries. Newbill and Moore won individual titles a year ago to lead the Cougars to their second straight team crown. So far Mt. Blue has picked up only one wrestler from its middle school program.
