LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Betty Crowley were held Saturday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, with Deacon Denis Mailhot presiding. During the service, an old testament reading was read by Betty’s nephew, Jim Lynch and words of remembrance were shared by Betty’s niece, Mary-Beth LaBarre, who concluded with reciting a Christmas Novena in Betty’s honor, that is a family tradition prayed during the season of Advent. Bearers were James, Brian, Kevin and Thomas Lynch, Patrick and Peter Filliettaz as well as Jonathan Perry. Following a funeral procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Deacon Mailhot recited graveside committal prayers. Then all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Rolandeau’s Restaurant in Auburn.
