In the wake of the unspeakable Newtown tragedy, I dislike the NRA and other gun worshipers more than ever.
The “right to bear arms” (as outlined in the Bill of Rights), history states, relates to militia, to defend this great nation when under attack.
It is time to wake up; to end the love affair with deadly weapons. It is said that the U.S. has more guns per capita than any other country, yet the massacres continue. Groups of innocent people (as well as individuals) die needlessly.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Congress would remember that they are elected to represent each American citizen, not just those who line their pockets?
How heart-wrenching to think of such an unmerry Christmas — an unhappy holiday season — for so many. Just because of so many guns.
