1911 – 2013
CANTON — Mary Louise Teske, 101, of Pleasant Street in Canton, formerly of West Peru, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Victorian Villa.
She was born April 13, 1911, in St. Francis, a daughter of Theophile and Matilda (LaFrance) Pelletier.
Mary attended Lincoln Elementary School in St. Francis and was a graduate of St. Francis High School.
She enjoyed family gatherings and working on the family farm. She was also the family beautician and barber. Mary enjoyed snowshoeing, cooking, dancing and driving in the family car.
Surviving are her sisters, Mabel Schaefer of Avon Park, Fla., and Mildred Drovat of Hartford, Conn.; and two nephews, Bruce Pelletier of Lewiston and James Pelletier of Caribou.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Albert Teske.
