FARMINGTON — Four candidates returned nomination papers to the town office to seek two seats on the Board of Selectmen during the town’s March elections.

Two present RSU 9 School Board directors have not returned papers this time, according to Town Clerk Leanne Pinkham. Two other candidates seek those three-year terms.

Selectmen Stephan Bunker and Andrew Hufnagel have filed for re-election to their seats, Pinkham said.

Former Selectman Jon Bubier and Budget Committee Chair Joshua Bell have also filed nomination papers for the seats.

The two candidates with the most votes will take the three-year positions on the board, she said.

RSU 9 School Board directors Ray Glass and Monique Claverie have not filed papers for re-election.

Only two candidates, Yvette Robinson and Eric Gilbert, have filed to seek those positions.

The election takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 18, prior to the annual town meeting at 7 p.m. Both will be held at the Community Center on Middle Street.
