SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Timothy Brodsky, a member of the class of 2014 at Skidmore College, earned term honors for the fall semester. He is the son of Ken and Jane Brodsky of Auburn.

BOSTON — Gabrielle N. LaPerriere the daughter of John and Joline LaPerriere of Auburn, has made the dean’s list for the first semster at Simmons College. Gabrielle is an international relations major in her first year at Simmons. She is a 2012 graduate of Edward Little High School.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Kaelyn Lecander, a junior at Bethel University, has been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2012 semester. She is the daughter of Jeff and Sheila Lecander from Stratton, Maine.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — In recognition of her academic accomplishments Nika Faulkner of Auburn was placed on the dean’s list at Pratt Institute for the fall 2012 semester.  She is a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn. Faulkner is a member of the class of 2016.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Two local students were named to Susquehanna University’s dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.

Greta-Anne Castonguay of Turner is a freshman biology major. She is a 2012 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is the daughter of David and Gisele Castonguay.

Corrie Van Haasteren of Raymond is a freshman economics major. He is a 2012 graduate of Hebron Academy.

UTICA, N.Y. — Stephanie J. Belanger of Lewiston has made the fall 2012 dean’s list at Utica College with a GPA of 3.4 or higher. She is a biology major.

BIDDEFORD — Suzanne Kropp, daughter of Theron and Cynthia Kropp of Wales, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester at the University of New England.

A 2012 graduate of Gardiner Area High School, Kropp is a major in health and wellness studies, specifically occupational therapy. She is actively involved in swimming, qualifying for the New England competition being held in Rhode Island in February.

BIDDEFORD — Paula Despres, daughter of Paul and Elise Despres of Jay, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester at the University of New England. A 2012 graduate of Spruce Mountain High School, Despres is a major in health, wellness and occupational studies.

BIDDEFORD — Matthew Chouinard, son of Chris and Pauline Chouinard of Lewiston, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester at the University of New England. A 2012 graduate of Lewiston High School, Chouinard is a major in athletic training.

WORCESTER, Mass. — Christine M. Renaud, a fourth-year student at the College of the Holy Cross, has been named to the dean’s list for the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year. She is the daughter of Norm and Rita Renaud of Lisbon Falls. She double majors in psychology and sociology.
