AUBURN — Trish Shorey, a Bridgton native, joined Linnell, Choate & Webber, LLP, in January.

Her practice areas include employment law, workers’ compensation, and criminal law. She is admitted to practice law in Maine and Massachusetts and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US.

She graduated summa cum laude from Hartwick College in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and political science. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2011.

During law school, she represented individuals in family, criminal and probate matters as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic; worked as a legal extern for the International Association of Privacy Professionals; and interned in the Law and Regulatory Affairs Department for a Fortune 500 insurance company. She also was a member of the Maine Juvenile Justice Advisory Group, Maine Law Trial Team, and president of the Maine Law Basketball Association.

She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Androscoggin County Bar Association and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She is admitted to practice law in Maine and Massachusetts.

She enjoys playing basketball, soccer and softball, as well as skiing and coaching youth basketball.
