Program on national debt
GARDINER — “Will we Cause our Children be Buried in Our Debt?” will be the topic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Gardiner Area High School, 40 West Hill Road. The speakers will address, among other things, the skyrocketing national debt and the consequences to America if Congress and the Obama administration do not address the problem soon. We will also get an update on the spending battle which is heating up in the Maine Legislature and how it affects the average Mainer’s financial quality of life.
This event is sponsored by Maine Taxpayers United. Admission is free. The general public is cordially invited.
