LEWISTON — Aime and Connie Morin of Lewiston celebrated 60 years of marriage at Davinci’s Restaurant on Nov. 3, with family and close friends. The event was planned by their daughter, Terry Roux, and son, Ron Morin.

An anniversary cake with their original cake top of 60 years ago was served. Pictures were on display of the couple and their family. The couple received gifts, cards and flowers.

A toast was given by their son, Ron Morin, and granddaughter, Kim Robash.

Mr. Morin and the former Connie Kirouac were married on Nov. 8, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Chapel in Lewiston. In addition to their two children, their grandchildren are Kim Robash and Tianna and Mya Morin, and a great-granddaughter, Madison Robash.

Mrs. Morin is retired from the Carriage House Gift Shop and Mr. Morin is retired from Ste. Marie Federal Credit Union.

They enjoyed many years of their retirement at Wild Acres Campground in Old Orchard Beach in the summer and were “love snowbirds” in Sarasota, Fla. in the winter.
