Fifth annual Wicked Good Talent competition

MAINE — In its fifth year, Maine’s Got Talent got a makeover – a name change to Wicked Good Talent. Showcase your talent and have a chance to win cash and a recording session.

Submissions may be sent via DVD, VHS or YouTube by April 15. Participants in Wicked Good Talent, ages 5 years and up, may be solo, duet, or group acts which may include singing, dancing, gymnastics, playing an instrument, juggling, baton twirling, comedy, fancy jump roping, unicycling, whatever. To enter, send an entry form along with your DVD, VHS, or YouTube of your two-minute performance and entry fee of $25 for solo or duet performances or $40 for group performances.

Finalists, who will be chosen from the entries, will compete live at the finals on Saturday, May 18 at the Community Little Theater, Auburn. The 2013 winner of Wicked Good Talent will win a trophy, a cash prize ($500), a recording session at The Studio in Portland and performance opportunities.

Previous winners include Kristin Korda of Saco, Christopher Camire of Auburn, Hannah Rowell of South Portland and Max Ater of Bath.
