RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Harry J. Myles was celebrated Friday afternoon at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was presented by Jeff Gaudette and the New Testament by Jeff Gaudette. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Charlene Chase. Offertory Gifts were presented by Allie Myles and Cameron Myles. Personal reflections were shared by Jerry Child. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Spring interment will be at St. John Cemetery. Bearers were Rob Gaudette, Ed Girsa, Ryan Myles, Patrick Myles, Arthur Myles and Dan Smith. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was held in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home in Rumford.
