AUBURN — The April meetings of the Woman’s Literary Union will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, and at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St.

Robert Bowyer of Auburn will present a program on “Lexington and Concord: What you didn’t learn in school.” The public is invited to join members for these timely presentations. Patriot’s Day is April 15. Refreshments will be served at both meetings.

The WLU community project for the month of April is the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project. Members are urged to bring in items for donation such as toiletries, infant/toddler clothing and diapers.

Raffle tickets will be available at both meetings for the American Girl Doll, Saige, which will be raffled off at the end of the Mother, Daughter, Doll Tea, April 27 and 28. For more information about the tea, call 619-2958 or emailwomansliteraryunion@yahoo.com.
