LEWISTON — The 2012-13 Thomas E. Lahey Foundation scholarship recipients are:

Luke Cote, a graduate of Lewiston High School, is attending St. Joseph’s College. He is the son of Steve and Karen Cote of Lewiston.

Kayla Hamel, a graduate of Lewiston High School, is attending University of New England. She is the daughter of Brent and Mary Ann Hamel of Lewiston.

Corbin Hyde, a graduate of Lewiston, is attending Endicott College. He is the son of Jim and Onica Hyde of Lewiston.

Brandon Tiner, a graduate of Lewiston High School, is attending Thomas College. He is the son of Erik of Danbury, Conn., and Lisa Tiner of Lewiston.

Morgan Emerson, a graduate of Edward Little High School, is attending Central Maine Community College. She is the daughter of John and Keri Emerson of Auburn.

Jaclyn Masters, a graduate of Edward Little High School, is attending University of Orono. She is the daughter of Thomas and Sandra Masters of Auburn.

MaryKate Masters, a graduate of Edward Little High School, is attending Endicott College. She is the daughter of Thomas and Sandra Masters of Auburn.

Ian Therriault, a graduate of Edward Little High School, is attending Wenthworth College. He is the son of Mike and Ann Therriault of Auburn.

The Thomas E. Lahey Foundation was established to honor Tom Lahey, an outstanding Lewiston athlete and successful businessman who died Oct. 3, 1987, at the age of 43.

The purpose of the foundation is to assist local youth in the pursuit of excellence in academic, athletic and cultural activities.

Since its inception the foundation has awarded more then $175,000 in scholarships.

Fundraisers scheduled for 2013 include a bowling tournament which was held Jan. 26 and a golf tournament scheduled for July 12.
