DEAR SUN SPOTS: St. Louis School in Auburn is having a class reunion  on Sunday, June 2,  at Gippers Sports Grill at 120 Center St. in Auburn. We will meet at 12:30 for lunch, then visit and reminisce till 4 p.m

If you are a past student who attended St. Louis School in Auburn between the years of 1954 and 1962, we would like to hear from you. You don’t need to be a graduate to be included. If you would like to attend, we would love to have you.

If you have memorabilia from your years at St. Louis School, please contact Anita Boisvert Poulin at 782-5118 as soon as possible, as we would like to compile photographs and other keepsakes for all to enjoy during the event. Some examples include awards, pins, uniforms, class photos, calendars, confirmation and Holy Communion photos — whatever you may still have stored in those precious-treasure boxes.

To register, please call Connie Asselin Grenier at 740-5971. There will be a $10 charge to register, which will be refunded to you only if you attend the event. Guests are responsible for cost of lunch.

You must preregister by May 2. Please send your check to Connie Grenier, 42 Cook St., Auburn, ME 04210. Come enjoy reconnecting with old friends. — Anita, apgraph@roadrunner.com

DEAR SUN SPOTS: L-A Freecycle is a resource for people both needing something and having something to give away. There are also other Freecycle groups over Maine. It works well. There is a group Freecycle Androscoggin on Facebook that has recently been organized. It’s much better than trashing reusable items. — Trudy Haines, TrudysOwn@aol.com

ANSWER: Sun Spots has used Freecyle herself. Readers can find L-A Freeycle at http://groups.freecycle.org/Lewiston-AuburnME/posts/all. Those in other regions can search for a group at http://my.freecycle.org/

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I would like to contact a gentleman in the Wilton area who sold red factor canaries. I got one from him a while back, but lost his phone number and name. I would like to contact him about the birds. — No Name via email
