JAY — RSU 73 Spruce Mountain Adult and Community Education will offering the following classes beginning this week.

A class on starting a small business will begin on Tuesday, April 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Spruce Mountain Middle School in Room 143. The cost is $5. Larry Giroux from Androscoggin Valley Conference of Government will teach this session. This class is an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to start their own business. If you have questions regarding a business you already own, this is the time to ask find answers to those questions.

On Wednesday, April 24, a college readiness class will begin. This class introduces students to college math, English and technology. In addition, included is a session on college culture. The class will have an opportunity to talk to college representatives, fill out financial aid forms and find out information on furthering education. This is a grant-funded class and will last for seven weeks.
