Jewelry sale at Rumford hospital

RUMFORD — The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Mother’s Day jewelry sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 6, and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in Conference Room A.

Everything is $2 to $10. The sale is open to the public.

Briar Patch Greenhouse is opening

SeniorsPlus staff to visit area towns

WEST PARIS — SeniorsPlus, the Area Agency on Aging, will be at the West Paris Library from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 8, at the Norway Town Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, and the Rumford Town Office from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 22.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions or concerns.

Michaud representative to be in Bethel

BETHEL — Rep. Mike Michaud has announced that his staff will be available to meet with Mainers from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May8, on issues they are facing with federal agencies and to discuss services available through his office.

Kids to learn yoga at library

RUMFORD — Tisha Bremner from Inner Light Yoga of Maine will be at the Rumford Public Library at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, for a special story time. She will conduct a kids’ yoga class during the story time hour.

Bremner, a certified yoga instructor, owns Inner Light Yoga of Maine and has been practicing yoga since she was 16.

Area children from 2 to 5 years, accompanied by a parent or care giver, are invited to participate. This is a free program.
