AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA announces two new directors, Sarah Hearn and Andrea Dyer. Both have been with the YMCA for some time and have been promoted to new director positions.
Hearn is the YMCA’s new school-age child care director. Her experience includes more than a decade as a lead teacher at the Y. She is active as a skier and camper with her family. Her love of the outdoors will be well-suited in her summer role as a leader at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s Camp Connor day camp before she returns to the Y downtown again for the school year.
Dyer is the new assistant site director at Auburn-Lewiston YMCA’s Daisy Garden Preschool in Lewiston. She has been a lead teacher for the Y during the last three years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral science with a minor in early childhood education from the University of Southern Maine. She is planning a June wedding in DisneyWorld.
