LEWISTON — The Center for Wisdom’s Women will offer several special classes in May.

Participants will learn to make “Gratitude Beads” with Crigen Richards on Tuesday, May 21. On Wednesday, May 22, Deborah Pipersals will lead a Jungian introduction to understanding dreams. The center will host a pancake breakfast on Thursday, May 23.

The Full Moon Singing Circle will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25. Hot tea will be provided and those attending are asked to bring munchies to share if they can.

Several support groups meet regularly. The fibromyalgia support group meets two Thursdays and a new group for family caregivers is starting weekly on Tuesdays. A group will meet on Thursday, May 30, to explore starting a support group for lesbian, transgendered, bisexual women and their friends or family. Each group meets at 1 p.m. A weekly Al-anon group meets at 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays..

The center will be closed for a staff day on Friday, May 24. The full schedule is posted at www.wisdomswomen.org. All women are welcome and no appointments are needed. Programs are free. The center stocks personal hygiene items to give away. Oatmeal breakfasts are available daily and the center has a shower available for use.
