AUBURN — Myra Putnam Wright, 77, a resident of West Shore Road, Auburn, died early Thursday, May 16, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Portland, Sept. 2, 1935, the daughter of Harold A. and Adeline (Dobson) Putnam.

Myra attended Portland schools and was a graduate of Portland High School. She began employment in the lab at Brown University, and was employed most recently with the Internal Revenue Service office in Lewiston until her retirement.

She loved her family, her home on Taylor Pond, and being active and giving within the community.

Myra was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Wright Jr.; one son, Robert J.L. Wright; three daughters, Catherine Donnelly and husband, Scott, Robyn Greene and husband, Gary and Karen Parsons and companion, Stephen; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family would also like to thank all the wonderful caregivers and friends who helped during Myra’s illness.
