LEWISTON — Memorial services honoring the life of John K. Crosby were held Monday evening at Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home, with Chaplain Kathleen O’Wril presiding. The Elk Lodge of Lewiston began services with an Elks tribute for their deceased fellow member. During services the song “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace” was played and John’s childhood friend, Jimmy Knee from Vermont, sent his rendition of “One Day at A Time” to also be played at John’s service. Willy Grady then shared words of remembrance of his close friend, John, and how his friendship with him made him a better man. At the conclusion of services all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Webber Avenue Club, where John was also a member in Lewiston.
