How you got into the industry: After a 20-year career in the Coast Guard conducting search and rescue, law enforcement, and marine/environmental safety, I began looking for a second career.

What is most interesting part of your job: My interest in biosolids composting was sparked when a friend employed in the field described his job to me. I found the wide variety of tasks he performed on a daily basis interesting and beneficial to the environment.
