FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Regional School District has announced the year-end concert series in area schools.

All elementary school concerts will take place during the school day. The Mt. Blue Middle and High School concerts will be evening performances.

Thursday, May 30, will feature the Cape Cod Hill Elementary School bands, choruses and orchestras under the direction of Karen Beacham, Nancy Beacham and Lindsay Burke. The concert will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Cape Cod Hill School gym.

The Mt. Blue High School band, chorus and orchestra concert will also be performed on Thursday, May 30, at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. It is under the direction of Karen Beacham, Steven Muise and Carol Shumway.

There will be two concerts on Friday, May 31. The first will feature the grade four and five band, chorus and orchestras of the Cascade Brook School under the direction of Karen Beacham, Nancy Beacham and Mark Phillips. The concert will be performed for the school students at 10 a.m. and family and friends at 1:45 p.m. in the school cafetorium.

The Mt. Blue High School Chamber Singers and Jazz Band will appear in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31, in the Mt. Blue High School Forum.

On Tuesday, June 4, the Mt. Blue Middle School music ensembles will be featured in concert under the direction of Lindsay Burke, Darryl Pike and Steven Muise. The middle school art show will also be available for public viewing before and after the 7 p.m. concert.

The Academy Hill School concert will be presented at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the Wilton school gym. The concert will feature the school’s band, choruses and orchestras with Lindsay Burke, Darryl Pike and Steven Muise directing the performance ensembles.

On Friday, June 7, the sixth-grade band, chorus and orchestra students at the Cascade Brook School will present their final concert for the school year. The concert will be presented to the school students at 10 a.m. and family and friends at 1:45 p.m. in the school cafetorium.
