M&P Auto 15, Pat’s Pizza 12

AUBURN — M&P Auto opened up Saturday’s game by shutting out the first three Pat’s batters and scoring a quick run to take the lead.  They kept that lead throughout the game, however Pat’s Pizza tried to make a late-game comeback.  M&P Auto’s defense remained strong with the quick glove work of Cayden Childs.

East Auburn 15, Pepsi 7

AUBURN — East Auburn defeated Pepsi, 15-7. Ben Cassidy led East Auburn with four hits in four at-bats including, two doubles. Mason Aube had three hits in the win and Giles Paradie contributed a pair of hits. Daniel Nalley, Jahvon Coney, and Seth Webster also had hits for the victors. Pepsi was led by Storm Jipson and Gunner Winslow, who each had a pair of hits.

East Auburn 16, Hardy, Wolf and Downing 6

AUBURN — East Auburn also topped Hardy, Wolf and Downing, 16-6. Mason Aube led East Auburn with three hits. Giles Paradie went two for two with a triple. Jahvon Coney had two hits and Ben Cassidy and Jaelen Coney added doubles for East Auburn. Bobby Tremaine led Hardy Wolf and Downing with two hits.

East Auburn 9, Austin Associates 2

AUBURN — East Auburn won its third game in three days with a 9-2 victory over Austin Associates in Auburn Suburban Little League Major baseball. Ben Cassidy led East Auburn with four hits, including two doubles. Giles Paradie socked two triples and a double for East Auburn. Jahvon Coney and Mason Aube were also repeat hitters for East Auburn. Jake Arel had a double and single for Austin Associates. Nick Hartley, Spencer Morrill and Hunter Fisher also contributed hits for the accountants. 

Gifford’s Ice Cream 17, Hardy Wolf and Downing 7

AUBURN — Gifford’s Ice Cream banged out 15 hits in 17-7 win over Hardy, Wolf and Downing. Both teams were strong offensively as Hardy Wolf and Downing had nine hits of their own. The firm struck first with a towering two run home run by Bobby Tremaine. Gifford’s proved to be tough outs all game as Ethan Brown, Nick Hathaway, Luke Josephson, and Ricky Cote all had multiple hits. For Hardy Wolf and Downing, Tremaine had a great day adding a double to his stat line and was joined in the double column by Noah Harkins. 

CB Bauchman 10, Hammond Lumber 7

AUBURN — Hammond made a late game rally by scoring three runs in the sixth inning falling just short of the come back . CB got strong pitching by Gabe Garcia striking out three in the first, Austin Sellinger breezed through the third inning facing 4 batters and Kevin Frey making his pitching debut in the fifth faced four batters striking out two.

Hammond played a strong defensive game retiring seven straight batters in the middle of Saturdays contest.

South Lewiston

Minor Softball

LEWISTON — Heutz Oil defeated Kaplan 13-1 with Isabelle Webster, Cassidie Wright and Julia Svor each having four hits. Svor also drove in four runs. Sage Cormier had three hits and three runs batted in. Kendall Gervais had two hits for Kaplan while Natalie Adams, Hayley Foss and Abigail Handlon each had a hit. Handlon drove in the only run for Kaplan.
