The Writer’s Workshop meets weekly on Monday mornings. There will be a “Going Bananas” day on the 25th when all activities during the day will involve bananas: games, jokes, art and a banana bread bake-off competition.
All morning classes run from 10 to 11:30. Afternoon programs are from 1 to 2:30.
The monthly women’s Full Moon Singing Circle will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, July 22. No experience needed. Hot tea will be provided. Bring a munchie to share if you can.
Several support groups meet regularly at the center, including a fibromyalgia support group, a new BLT group for bisexual, lesbian and transgendered women and their friends or family, support for family caregivers and a weekly Al-anon group.
During the summer the center will be closed on Fridays and it will be closed for a vacation week from July 4-12.
