Community Credit Union recently presented the Auburn Police Activities League (PAL) with a check for $668 to support its efforts. The funds came from credit union member and employee donations. Auburn PAL was established to reduce crime by providing positive experiences for area youth. The group offers educational and athletic activities for fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade children after school and during the summer, while fostering positive interaction and relationship building with local police officers. At the donation ceremony are, from left, Janice Callahan, Laurie Pelletier, Auburn police Chief Phillip Crowell and Janice Lare.
