LEWISTON — The Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions celebrated with 20 graduating radiologic technology students and their families at a recent pinning ceremony.

A number of awards were presented to graduating students, including the following:

The Dr. Clark F. Miller Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement was awarded to Shana Connor of Auburn, who graduated with the highest academic grade point average from the radiologic technology portion of the curriculum.

The Dr. Clark F. Miller Award for Clinical Excellence was awarded to Ashley Kearns of Portland, who had the highest clinical grade point average.

The Dr. Joseph Leonardi Student Leadership Award was awarded to Levi Robinson of Lewiston. The recipient of this award demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities.

The CMMC CONHP offers associate degree programs in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine technology and nursing. Certificate programs are available in computed tomography, reiki and nursing assistant. General education courses are offered each semester and are open to the public.
