JAY — Police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck and a riding lawn mower from two homes on Main Street, or Route 4.
A 1996 red Nissan pickup truck was reported stolen Monday. The theft occurred either Sunday night or early Monday, officer Russell Adams said. The keys were in it but not in the ignition, he said.
A new Ariens, 42-inch riding mower was reported stolen Monday afternoon from the Jay Hill area, he said. The theft occurred between Thursday and Monday, Adams said.
