LEWISTON — BJ’s Charitable Foundation recently awarded Trinity Jubilee Center $5,000 to support a number of its programs, including its food pantry, day shelter and refugee assistance program.

The donation is one of 112 grants totaling $709,625 that the foundation recently distributed to nonprofit organizations nationwide that focus on the health and well-being of children and families located in the communities where BJ’s Wholesale Clubs are located.

All of the nonprofits that were chosen to receive grants align with the foundation’s focus of providing services in the form of hunger prevention, self-sufficiency, health care or education to those in need.
