Promising newcomers: Seniors — Cassie Pace (F), Sierra Okane (D), Tabby Porter (F); Junior — Victoria Swan (G); Freshman — Chase Collier (F).
Season outlook: An encore for this squad is going to be tough, but made much easier by the fact that better than 90 percent of the team returns after weaving its way through the MVC maze to a Class C state title a year ago. The rest of the MVC didn’t get any worse, but the Greyhounds are now a year older and a year better. While the team maintains it’s “one-game-at-a-time” mentality, more than a few people believe there could be more special times in store for this group.
