WEST PARIS — Margaret L. Whyte, 87, died Monday, Sept. 16, at the Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris. She was a resident of Swift River Road in Byron.
She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on Feb. 13, 1926, and attended schools in Florida.
She was married on March 6, 1946, in Charlton County, Ga., to Glendon R. Whyte, who died March 10, 1993.
She was a member of the grange and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. She also loved Bingo and lottery tickets.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey of Byron, Glendon (Steve) and his wife, Lynda, of Byron, and Robert of Vermont; a sister, Helen of Florida; granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband; and a grandson, Glendon Whyte Jr.
