FARMINGTON — Three men accused of beating a Wilton man on June 30 were indicted by a Franklin County grand jury Wednesday.

Juan Colon, 19, of Livermore Falls, and Kahner Dee, 19, and Benjamin York, 19, both of Jay, were each indicted on a charge of felony aggravated assault.

Colon is accused of hitting Jason White, 43, of Wilton in the head with a homemade club that caused a serious injury and knocked him unconscious on Main Street, according to Wilton police Sgt. Chad Abbott’s affidavit filed with the court.

The two other men are connected to the assault, police previously said.

White was reported to have been struck repeatedly with a homemade wooden club during a confrontation with the three men after they chased him into Wilton.

Wilton officer Andrew Hardy found White unconscious in a pool of blood on Main Street, near Lake Road on the evening of June 30. He was taken to a Farmington hospital with a head injury and released the next day.

White was also arrested by Jay police on a charge of criminal threatening on July 2 against the three men.

White was not indicted Wednesday.
