- Noah Gill, 12, of Auburn helps with the scarecrow hoop toss game during the 44th annual Pumpkin Festival at Farwell Elementary School in Lewiston on Sunday. The school’s PTA organizes the fundraiser. “Our goal is to raise $8,000,” Principal Althea Walker said. “If we raise $10,000, I will dye a blue streak in my hair.” Walker said the money raised will be used for technology such as iPads and smart boards. Gill’s mother, Carla, is a teacher at the school.
