On Channel 13 recently there was a gentlemen, John Joyal from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, who stated he was upset that he had been “sequestered” after working there for 37 years.

I have news for Mr. Joyal — the public is supposed to do as President Obama says. Does anyone doubt me? A headline on a Washington Post story, printed by the Sun Journal Oct. 18, said that although Republicans may not love Obama, they would be wise to fear him.

Are we supposed to fear the president?

How about Obamacare? If people don’t get health insurance they can be fined. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t feel that is the American way.

Officials in Congress say the nation is broke, so why do lawmakers continue to give money away to countries that hate us?

Congress has been helping itself to Social Security money for years in the name of “helping the people of America.” But I know better.

Does anyone worry that, in January, Congress will shut down again? There has to be someone in the United States who is better than who we have in Washington now.
