1975 – 2013

SABATTUS — Most beloved daughter, sister, and partner Tracy L. Richard, 38, of Bens Hill Road in Sabattus, went to be with her lord, after her sudden death on Thursday, Oct. 24.

She was born in Portland on Jan. 27, 1975, a daughter of Michael and Debra (Shultis) Richard. She was a graduate of Windam High, Class of 93 and proudly served her country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.

Tracy worked for the past 13 years at a number of Home Depot stores in southern Maine, most recently serving as a department manager at the Home Depot in Windham, a job she truly enjoyed. She was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish, now attending at Our Lady of the Rosary in Sabattus. She enjoyed gardening and stone work. Tracy’s true passion was working with herbs and teas to help people feel better. She seemed to have a medicinal tea or herb for just about any ill and was always willing to help. She was a loving daughter, and a true friend and confidant. She was a lover of God, she truly loved her children, and was a wonderful partner in life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her partner and true love, Vincent Taglieri, of Sabattus; her parents, Michael and Debra of Old Orchard Beach; her two sons, Michael and William Connors of Porter; a daughter, Casey Connors of Sabattus and Porter; a brother, Aaron Richard and his wife, Amber, and their two children, Jada and Corbin all of Limington; Vincent’s two children, Kyle and Anna Taglieri of Bowdoinham; five aunts and uncles, Diane Sturgis of Florida, Juliana Richard of Bingham, John Richard of Gorham, Charles and Patricia Richard of Fort Kent; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Edna Shultis; and her paternal grandparents, James and Eileen Richard.
