ORONO — The University of Maine football team continues its climb up the national polls.
Following its 37-35 road win over Villanova on Saturday, the Black Bears have climbed to No. 10 in The Sports Network FCS poll and into eleventh spot in the coaches’ poll.
Maine is 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the Colonial Athletic Association.
The team returns home this Saturday for a conference game against Stony Brook, which is 1-2 in conference play and 3-4 overall.
